Scope

This index lists in-force sustainability, environmental and energy regulation across 119 jurisdictions, synced weekly from the XG corpus, nearly all with a link to an official source — 679 to the instrument or its gazette notice and 171 to the authority that publishes it. It excludes repealed or superseded instruments and proposals that have no adopted official text. Regulations written up in full appear as links; the rest are listed rather than given a page of their own — a regulation earns a page only when we hold something about it that isn't published elsewhere. The effective date is the date the instrument took effect where the corpus records one; on a small number of rows it is instead the date the obligations begin, which is later. Where the two differ and it matters, the regulation's own page says which is which.
